Workshop Connecting in Challenging Times. Tools for authentic communication that create space and connection. (Online)
By Tara Academy
- How do you talk about irritations?
- How do you feel and communicate about fear?
- How do you express what you need?
- How do you feel your own desires, even in close proximity or long distance?
THE CHALLENGE
At this moment many of us experience difficulties: working at home, financial problems, loneliness, being stuck together in too close proximity, uncertainty about the future.
It is very normal that we create shields and emotional distance towards life so that we do not have to not feel everything about this in full force. Some of us numb ourselves. Some of us fight and become angry. Some of us run away and find distractions in other things. We all have our coping mechanisms.
But wouldn't it be nice to find ways to talk with your loved ones about what you fear and need in a way that enhances togetherness?
When we find ways to communicate clearly about the difficult things in a constructive way we can use these pressure cooker days as a time for growth.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In this workshop we will learn:
- Ways how to feel difficult emotions.
- Tools to feel and communicate your needs clearly.
- Tools to share your irritations in a way that doesn't create distance.
FOR WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP?
- For singles and couples that want to learn how to communicate your needs, anger, frustrations, and desires more clearly

BACKGROUND OF THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop is on the key teachings in tantric philosophy that every encounter with reality (pleasant or unpleasant) is an opportunity to get to know yourself better.
We also use techniques based on Marshall Rosenbergs Non Violent communication and use AH Almaas' inquiry techniques to explore what we experience moment to moment.
“Judgments & violence are tragic expressions of unmet needs.” ~ Marshall Rosenberg
“Being in a relationship is one of the most valuable opportunities to hold each other’s mirrors lovingly. This is a precious dance and an invitation for truthful being.”
