Lunch strategy session: Achieving growth in the 1.5 meter society and after (max 12 participants) 

In this session we will focus on how you can survive and thrive in the current crisis and the "new normal" afterwards.

Corona has turned all of our worlds upside down. For most companies, this meant the world they operated in changed practically overnight. They suddenly had to close up shop, react to changes in demand, find new ways to keep in touch with their colleagues and customers, etc. Handling any of these topics would be a challenge during good times, having to navigate multiple in the context of a recession potentially overwhelming.

At the same time, the current developments also provide an opportunity, for those able to keep a focus on their long game. What we learned from previous crises is that there is a huge potential waiting for the ones that are the quickest to adapt to the new reality. Take Uber, Airbnb, and Adyen: all of them were founded in or shortly before the last crisis and came out blazing. But how did they do this and where do you start?

The aim of this session is to gain and co-create insights in how to adjust for the altered reality due to corona most effectively. Expect a fast-paced, interactive workshop where we will jointly look for and prioritize the opportunities and risks that lay in the current crisis. We will handle defense as well as offense: how to keep your company healthy now ánd preparing for success in the long run.

By the time we finished lunch, you'll have identified your focus areas and next steps for achieving growth in the 1.5 meter society and what comes after. 

Nick Mastenbroek has a background on the crossroads of people, tech, and society. He currently works as a scaleup consultant at nlmtd, a boutique consulting agency focussed on combining business and social impact through a focus on strategy, innovation, and transformation. Companies he's worked with include The Student Hotel, Swapfiets, and Action.
